A sustainable way with less waste.
In Mi Maleta y Tú we have another way of seeing things. We think that it is not necessary to produce what is not needed.
We have a different way of approaching sales. We only produce when there is an order.
What does it mean?
- The customer places the order.
- We begin to manufacture the product that the customer has ordered.
- The product is sent to the customer.
That allows us?
This allows us to avoid widespread overproduction in the rest of the industry. This way we don't throw away or burn unsold stock like most do.
Fashion companies alone throw away 92 million tons of textile material per year. Impressive isn't it?
How we work?
We use DTG (Direct-to-garment) for printing on garments, it is more eco-friendly because the items are only printed when the order is received. For this reason, it is a suitable and sustainable method for printing a single article. It is a more sustainable technology than other more old-fashioned clothing printing methods such as screen printing. Screen printing not only uses a lot of water and plastisol inks that are not biodegradable, but it is also often used to produce bulk orders, leading to overproduction.
Of course, printing on demand leaves much less margin than conventional production. Therefore our offers will be lower than those of large companies that produce wholesale.
Now only you and your conscience are left... That's why you have to have a little, even a little, sensitivity when buying clothes.
Our motto Buy little, buy better!
